Finnish Lapland 360

First time to Lapland and very happy with this hotel. We stayed in a beautiful Kelo (authentic Lap small wooden house). We could use all facilities of the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were very good ( lot of choices). A lot of excursions were possible: husky safari; snow scooter safari; ice fishing, visiting a reindeer farm; skiing etc etc.Staff was very friendly and helpful. A place to remember on a beautiful spot in de middle of a nature park!

Garden House

It was everything we imagined and more. First off- it makes me feel sad that some people have rated this lodge 'terrible' I have no idea why!? I can only assume its people that prefer 5* all inclusive resorts. This is definitely for nature lovers and thrill seekers! We stayed in the garden house. It was lovely and full of character. I'm glad we chose this house as I think the others would have bee far to big for just the two of us.We did not plan any excursions as we were a bit laid back about the whole trip, "see what happens when we get there" kind of attitude. I'm so glad we were. We took each day as it came and the staff were extremely helpful when it came to booking us on excursions and arranging private tours and transport! Especially Caleb- without him we wouldn't of done half of what we did, always happy to help with a smile. Loved our chats and learnt a lot from him. Make sure you take his kayak tour- very knowledgeable and fun (one of my highlights). Shout out to boogie for taking us on a very educational jungle trek too! Oh and make sure you do the zip lining :) All in all, without a doubt would stay here again. All the staff go above and beyond. We will miss the two gorgeous guard dogs, Saul and Tider too! Some tips:- Take bug spray! - Clothes don't dry well because of humidity so take enough. - The closest super market shuts on Sunday's (so do most things) so make sure you buy what you need on Saturdays.- Hire bikes but don't ride them at night as they don't have lights.- Don't take advantage of the staffs good nature but do ask if you need anything! - Definitely go- it's awesome!
