Are you looking for that lovely lazy place away from the madding crowds and the hustle and bustle and toils of everyday life then come and spent some beautiful precious time away from it all in our tree house hideaway high in the Evergreen Oak trees. Overlooking the sleepy village of and drenched in natural nature you are sure to find the peace you dream of.
We believe this is the only tree house available for rent in Crete and the most southerly in Europe
Treehouse description
This is a real Tree-House not just a house between trees on stilts! The tree house has a small fridge and Breakfast is included in the price which will be hoisted everyday in a basket. Tea coffee etc are all included . The bed is a double and very comfortable but is low to the floor. To access the tree house you will have have to come through the house and there is a short climb past the pool area through the wood.
We are a working couple who have built one of Crete's most sort after BnB rooms over the last 4 years with many returning guests year after year.
Please note that the Tree House is in the oak wood so we must have a strict NO SMOKING policy in and around the tree house especially at the height of summer when the area is as dry as tinder.
is situated 20 mins from the center of Rethymnon Crete's 3rd biggest town and very popular with the alternative tourist, those looking to get away from the package people and all inclusive resorts. With excellent Taverna's near by you will find real homemade food and a warm welcome from the friendly family run tavernas in Kastellos and Armeni. The local villages are mostly hard working farmers who will be pleased to see you and say "Yasas" as they pass.
The best way to see Crete is by car and we can give advise on great driving routes to excellent places that most people won't be able to find, is great for walking as it is on the E4 route and with calm quiet roads the countryside is here to be explored

How to get there
From Chania or Heraklion take the National Highway to Rethymnon at the second kombos take the Spili turn and go up the hill past the Minoan Cemetery then turn right to Castelos (Kastellos) follow the road to Ana Valsamonero and we are the next small village (No Village Sign)

Monoapri is situated in the middle of Crete with easy drivable access to bith the North and South Coast Rethymnon is 12 km away 20 in drive the south coast is 40 min drive through spectacular countryside.
Our local tavernas offer cheap home grown and home made food with many selling their own wine and raki.
