Treehouse summary
In the heart of South-West France, in a small town called Tarn and Garonne, this amazing tree house is a lovely place to spend a few days, a few weeks or even longer, unwinding and getting away from everything. It is set in remarkable natural greenery overlooking a valley classified as an EU Natural 2000 protected area. These beautiful cabins are nestled in Oak trees and all you will hear will be the wind blowing through these magnificent trees. The cabins are well insulated and heated and so they are suitable all year around for peaceful breaks that will no doubt rejuvenate and revitalise.
Treehouse description
The two owners Beatrice and Frederic carefully designed their beautiful treehouses to fit in with the natural surroundings and all of them are made from natural materials. Each one is fully functional with a bedroom, kitchen, and dining room. Some of the treehouses come with bathrooms; whilst with some of the other treehouses, guests will need to use the bathrooms in the main house.
These lovely treehouses make for an unusual holiday for families and groups of friends. They also are ideal for a romantic getaway for couples needing a quiet retreat.
The focus of the treehouses is on respect for nature, and guests are invited to come and enjoy a holiday focusing on nature, ecology, well-being, gastronomy and adventure. The owners have grown a good-sized garden and guests are able to buy vegetables from this organic and fresh garden and fruit such as apples, pears, and strawberries from the orchards. The grounds are a functioning smallholding farm and so you can expect to meet many of the farm animals such as the donkeys, cows, sheep, horses, and even the resident llama. Breakfast is included with your booking and will feature many ingredients from the farm, and fresh French bread.
There are many things nearby such as the beautiful village of Lauzerte. This is a large medieval fortified town. It is a passageway town for pilgrims on the St Jacques de Compostela pilgrimage route and has many interesting features such as a weekly market, a local church, and other historic features.
