The Forest UFO

As part of a series of tree houses at the Tree Hotel, the UFO tree house, is a truly unique tree house that appears in contrast to the forest environment around it. The tree house is UFO made from a durable composite material that is light, strong, and sustainable. The UFO is not only an original idea for a tree house but it is also comfortable, fully equipped, and has space for up to five people – two adults and three children.

Treehotel is located approximately an hour by car from Luleå (Kallax) airport in Northern Sweden. The location is perfect for a mid-winter break to spot the northern lights.

The interior gives the room a modern and comfortable feel. The UFO is built for five people, two adults in a double bed, and three children, with separate beds, bathroom and living area. 30m⊃2; is all you need for a comfortable escape to childhood dreams.

Britta’s Pensionat is open for Treehotel’s guests, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in an authentic 1940s setting. There is a restaurant, bar, sauna and relaxation area, TV, and internet services. When you arrive at Treehotel, you first check at Britta’s Pensionat; then it is a short stroll through the breath-taking nature to your tree house. Ask at check in for the pathway to the tree sauna and book a spectacular experience.

Activities in the area include a full-day Hike in Korgen Nature Reserve; with its steep cliffs and tranquil lakes it is a beautiful hike up and down the forest hills.

There is usually the chance to spot moose and reindeer. If visitors are keen to see more moose, there is always the moose safari by four-wheel drive. Another popular activity is the trip to meet the Sami indigenous community and visit the Arctic Circle.

Northern Lights photography trips can be arranged, there are mountain bikes for hire, white-water rafting in the summer, horse riding, sea kayaking, dog sledding, ice dining, speedy skijoring (horse-pulled skiing), snowmobile safari, and ice fishing.
