This amazing 46 square-meter treehouse which is perched on the top of sturdy oak trees has all the amenities that guarantee a stay that will be more than satisfactory. There is a seating area with a desk; a bathroom with hot and cold showers and a water closet; a living area with two lofts and three comfy double-sized beds; and a large balcony with a dining area from which you can watch the spectacular views of the grounds and the mountains beyond. It is the perfect destination for a group of six or less who are looking to have a great time close to nature.

How to get there
There are many ways to reach Die Lodge (The Lodge). From the A7, simply take the B287 to Hammelburg and then the B27 to Würzburg. After about 13 kilometers, turn right onto the 2434 towards Gemünden Street and turn right again after 1 kilometer towards the Weickersgrüben. Go on to the direction of the MSP 17 until you reach Gräfendorf. About 6.5 kilometers from Gräfendorf, you’ll see a left turn that goes into Baumhaushotel Seemühle. Follow this road for about 50 meters and you’re there. From the A3: Take the B26 in Hoesbach towards Lohr-Gemünden. Once there, turn right on the 2302 and go on until you reach Gräfendorf. Then you’ll see a turn towards Baumhaushotel Seemühle. Follow that road until you arrive at your destination.
About the area
Because of Die Lodge's location right at the foot of the Spessart Forest and the Rhon mountains, there are various activities guests can take part in while staying here. For starters, they can go hiking and cycling along the numerous nature trails in the area which are rife with amazing sights. Also, they can ride canoes and fish along the Franconian Saale River or check out and swim in the Tretstein Waterfall which are both about 500 meters away from the treehouse. And during winter, when the nearby mountains are covered in glorious snow, they can go downhill or cross-country skiing. But if visitors just want to take it slow, they can simply relax in a private sauna on the grounds, enjoy the breathtaking views all around, and indulge in delicious wine and scrumptious local food.
