How would you like to live in a treehouse overlooking a waterfall and relax amidst the canopy of trees with family and friends? At the Rabeang House, you can very well do so.

Built by retired architect Lee to give people a chance to find out for themselves what it's like to be living out in the woods, this house is the perfect embodiment of simple rural living.

In here, you can hang out on the veranda or lounge about inside the treehouse while listening to the sound of nature. Nothing comes close to the peace and solitude this cabin offers. It is really one place that will not only allow you to get in touch with Mother Earth, but yourself as well.

Treehouse description

Situated in a small village in Chiangmai, Thailand, this house is big enough to accommodate a minimum of four people. It is quite comfortable inside despite being in the middle of the forest. It has two double beds, a sitting area, and a dining area out on the terrace beside the river. In addition to that, there is a working toilet, a sink, and showers with hot and cold water. And you need not worry about not being able to get other things that you need because it is close to various facilities that offer great food and other stuff. Moreover, it is run by owners and staff whose aim is to make their guests' stay as hassle-free as possible. This place truly draws a fine balance between simple and modern day living.

    Definitely recommend! Show original

Very good and enjoyable! As we had booked an activity during the day we would have a late check in. After some emails we were dropped off somewhere after that trip and the taxi came to pick us up there as agreed. When we arrived at the Threehouse resort, we were immediately welcomed with a delicious dinner (which we were actually an hour late for). Our cabin was very nice, not very nice, but you don't expect that from a tree house. We had a great time and recommend this experience to everyone!!

Can I just live in this treehouse...

This was my first stop on my motorcycle trip and spent a few nights here. I didnt want to leave and could hardly imagine finding a better or more special place to stay. I stayed in the house that sits right on the river and loved hearing the stream along with its wildlife at night. Pinn was such a wonderful host and my siblings and I still speak of her as one of the kindest people we have ever met! Just an all around great place. If you are in the area, I highly recommend spending some time here. You wont regret it.
