Treehouse summary

The Bamboo House is a relatively new treehouse built by architect Lee at Pasak Ngam Village in Doi Saket, Chiangmai, Thailand. Nestled in between lush bamboo trees and a natural pool beside a small waterfall, the house allows you to relax under the canopy of leaves while listening to the murmurs of nature, go swimming in the cool waters, or simply enjoy the stunning surroundings all around. Without question, it is a great place where you can unwind and just get away from it all.

Treehouse description

It is rare to find a great treehouse like Bamboo House. Not only is it the epitome of what a cabin in the woods should be like, but it also is right above a waterfall and has its own swimming hole.

And even if the house is quite in the middle of the woods, it still has enough amenities to keep your stay as comfortable as possible. For starters, it has one double bed and one single bed, making it perfect for a small family or a group of friends. In addition to that, it has enough room fans to keep you comfortable on the off change that you find the area too humid. Also, it has an en-suite bathroom with a modern toilet and hot and cold showers.

But that's not all. Though the Bamboo House is private and well away from other huts in the area, it is only a short walk away to facilities where you can get good food and access to splendid outdoor adventures. And if ever there's something else that you might need, you only have to ask the staff for assistance. They'd be more than happy to help you out all throughout your stay.

    Highly recommended treehouse in thailand

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the right place. After a long scooter ride from Chaing Mai city to Saket village, we were greeted by a very pleasant staff and adorable kittens that joined us for wine on our deck. These treehouse are all custom designed and very unique! You don't want to stay in just one! The resort area is beautiful and surrounded by luscious trees and a little stream running by the treehouses. The food offered is pretty good, and I even cooked in the kitchen with Mr. Lee! This is the perfect place to escape from the city and tourist areas, and really relax. My only warning, is the roosters! They are so beautiful and very loud. Recommend ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise at night. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to visit while in Thailand!!

Great stay at at great treehouse

Great stay! Very isolated so don't plan to do too much while you're there! Relaxing stay with amazing staff and food! there are no options for food around so you have to purchase meals there but it was all delicious! Beds are hard from North American standards but that is to be expected in Thailand!

Coolest place ever - superb tree house

This was the absolute coolest place I've ever stayed! 15 mins after arriving I asked if I could stay an extra night and they easily added on one more night and let me try out a different treehouse. I first stayed in the jackfruit house which was so frickin cool! 1st floor is outside ground level, 2nd floor is your outdoor patio, third is your room and 4th is your balcony. This is right next to the little creek that runs through the tree houses and makes such a nice, soothing noise at night along with the crickets. Then, I stayed at the moon house which was equally as cool! The one thing I missed about the jackfruit house was the sound of the creek right next to me but what I loved about the moon has was having a pretty spacious hangout area with a pretty view of the hill behind you then having your bed upstairs. Pin was our hostess and her dad the architect. I cried a little leaving this amazing place. This was by far the best part of my entire trip because not only was it extremely unique but the scenery surrounding the tree houses was exactly what I thought of when picturing Thailand.
