The Pedras Salgadas spa and nature park is a 4-star tourist resort located in the north of Portugal at an altitude of 580 metres, in the heart of the Pedras Salgadas Park. Pedras Salgadas used to be a holiday destination for royalty but today, this delightful spa town has become a fashionable destination. The power of the water and the natural beauty of the park combine to attract tourists, who come from all over the world.
Located in the heart of the Park, blending in with the natural environment, stands the Eco tree house, an ideal place to stay. The work of the architect is modern in both its composition and its interior decoration. Inside the tree house, innovative technology and a fully equipped kitchenette can be found, and outside, a spacious deck. Covered in slate, wood, and indigenous raw materials, this helps to foster an integration with the landscape and render the tree house invisible, maintaining focus on the one-hundred-year-old park.
Inside, the tree houses have two windows, one through which the life of the park may be observed, and another to look at the stars, a bathroom divided into 2 parts, a kitchenette, a double bed and a sofa.
One hour and ten minutes by car from the city of Porto, Pedras Salgadas Park boasts an area of 20 hectares, with eight kilometres of paths for trail running of hiking. Visitors can visit the Agua Das Padras springs to see where this world famous sparkling water comes from.
The Thermal Spa, renovated by the architect Siza Vieira, offers a wide selection of massages, spa and beauty treatments, sharing its areas with a magnificent indoor pool with water circuits, a sauna, and a Turkish bath.
To savour the delicious, authentic delicacies of the Trás dos Montes cuisine, we invite you to visit the terrace of the "Casa de Chá” restaurant, blessed with a view overlooking the charms of the park.
For its history and richness, the path through Pedras Salgadas Park follows a natural course, where a visit to the hot springs becomes inevitable. There is also an outdoor pool and bar, a Restaurant, a playground, a Tree-Top Adventure course, and various bikes to enjoy the trails.
