Inviting Treehouse with Castle View

Korkhaus is a cabin located near a beautiful castle in Hesse, Germany which was built by owner, Peter , as a destination for those who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city just like him. This treehouse is perched about seven meters off the ground and can be accessed through a bridge that is as sturdy as the rest of the cottage. So in here, safety will never be a problem.

What makes this treehouse special is its unsurpassed view of forest below and the amazing Berlepsch Castle in the distance which you can enjoy day in and day out all thanks to the spacious balcony out front and wide stained-glass windows all over the place. And since it is nestled quite comfortably amidst numerous tourist and scenic spots, there will never be a lack of anything to do for guests. Korkhaus is without question a place that balances serenity and fun in the right way.

Though quite simple, Korkhaus really doesnt compromise on safety and comfort. The cabin has all the necessary amenities needed for a hassle-free stay such as electricity, a heater, and four very cozy beds. Also, it has a water closet in a separate booth outside of it that has a dry toilet and a wash basin. On the other hand, the showers can be found in the castle. But still, it is available all day long and is only about a hundred meters away.

With regards to dining in at the Korkhaus, there's a dining hall out on the grounds that provides a mouth-watering breakfast buffet made from all the freshest local products and which can be eaten there or in the treehouse itself. Also, there is a Waldbar where lunch or dinner can be ordered upon request, as well as delicious breads and pastries, coffee and tea, and organic lemonades, beer, and wine.

From Witzenhausen, head northwest on Hinter den Teichhöfen and then take the L3238 to Berlepsche. From there, take the slight right onto Mündener Street and turn right again onto An der Linde. After so, take the left turn to Hübenthaler Street and continue on the L3238 and when you see a right turn, take it. Follow this road until you reach a fork in the road. Keep right and then make another right towards Berlepsch. Once there, Korkhaus will be on the left.
