Norwegian Treetop Wilderness

There is space for maximum 7 people in the tree house and the tree house is self-catering. The tree house is accessed via a staircase and guests will need to bring their own sleeping bag or quilt cover. If the wind picks up, the cabins move gently with the trees, providing a calming swaying feeling. This makes you aware you are not in a city hotel or in any normal tree house. The cabins are insulated for the winter and they have gas heating. Gas, firewood, disposable, cutlery, candles and bird seeds are included. In the fully equipped kitchen, you`ll find a gas oven, a fridge, and a washbasin.

The tree house is located far away from the sights and sounds of traffic and populated areas. This means that on any night the only thing you will hear will be the sounds of the forest. On clear nights, the dark skies are littered with an amazing array of stars.

Moose are often seen in the area, and sometimes, reindeer in the summer and autumn. At the edge of the marsh, bear tracks have been discovered, golden eagles are seen soaring through the air and cranes nest on the marsh. There are bird feeders in the tops of the trees to attract all types of bird life. Birds, squirrels, and woodpeckers are frequent guests and delight both children and adults with their presence in the trees. There are many activities to choose from including trail running, hiking, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking.
